“I've been practicing yoga for 30 years. I began with interest in breathing, focus, and meditation while working with high - risk prenatal patients. As each of my children was born, I applied techniques of relaxation, breathing, focus, and meditation in those life-changing experiences. Over the years, I have studied with several local teachers including Noelle Dijoud, Jeff Tiebout, Anna Pittman, and Eileen Patzig. I received my 200 - hour certification with Nicole Fitzwater Boyle at In Balance Studio in 2017 and completed restorative yoga training in 2017 with Colleen Dwyer. I’m completing advanced certification with Anna Pittman at The Breathing Space, Blacksburg, Va. I have diverse yoga interests including Ashtanga, Yin, hot yoga, restorative, and gentle and warm flow vinyasa. I enjoy supporting students as they discover their own yogic paths through alignment and self-awareness.”
